Study Groups

“Study group members have shown improved self-confidence and self-esteem reflected in their ability to initiate conversation and actually seek out more residence activities.”

~ J. T., Executive Director, secure assisted living facility

Serper Method™ Study Groups are different from other discussion groups or social activities. The groups are small – just 3 to 4 people – and everyone is encouraged to take an active part. Study Group sessions are a time for focus and concentration, a real intellectual workout.

The goal of these groups is to help participants gain a deeper sense of independence and self-worth through learning and accomplishing new things. Participants use the Serper Method™ Workbook in twice-weekly sessions over the course of 12 weeks.

The Serper Method™ Study Program builds on an existing commitment to providing relevant, effective cognitive programs for patients. Using this method, participants improve quickly, increasing not only their own quality of life, but reducing the strain on their caregivers and family members and giving them a greater sense of satisfaction as well.

If you think that a Serper Method™ Study Group would benefit your clients or residents, BES would be happy to review the details of the program with you and discuss the impact it can have on residents and staff. Contact us for more information.
